How do I get involved?
A Private Sponsor Group (PSG) is a group of at least five adults who are American citizens or lawful permanent residents that accept responsibility to provide core sponsorship services to a refugee or refugee family. Sponsors must raise a minimum of $2,425 in cash and in-kind contributions per refugee newcomer being welcomed. For sponsors who are submitting “matching applications” (i.e. sponsoring someone you don’t know), funds are available to provide each sponsor group with $1,455 per refugee individual they welcome (or 60% of the amount needed per refugee) and Airbnb housing is available for the first 60 days of arrival, and possibly up to 60 days.
